1 - Set-off may not operate to the detriment of third-party rights. - If a third party effects an attachment in the debtor's hands, and the debtor subsequently becomes a creditor of his creditor in respect of a debt eligible for set-off, he may not invoke set-off to the detriment of the attaching creditor.

١ - لا يجوز أن تقع المقاصة إضرارا بحقوق الغير.
- فإذا أوقع الغير حجزا تحت يد المدين, ثم أصبح المدين دائنا لدائــنــه بـديــن
