Article 606 of Civil Code

1 - If either party gives the other notice to vacate and the lessee nevertheless continues to enjoy the property. The lease shall not be considered renewed unless evidence establishes the contrary. - If, however, the lessor notifies the lessee that the lease will not be renewed except at a specified rent or on other specified conditions, and the lessee remains silent, his silence shall constitute renewal of the lease at the rent or on the conditions notified to him by the lessor.
