If the law or agreement requires a particular form for the formation of a contract, that form must be observed in the contract promising to conclude it and in subsequent agreements modifying its effects, unless the law provides or the nature of the transaction permits otherwise. إذا استلزم القانون أو الاتفاق شكلاً معيناً لقيام العقد, وجبت مراعاة هذا الشكل
في عقد الوعد به، وفي الاتفاقات اللاحقة المعدلة لآثاره، ما لم يقض القانون أو
تسمح طبيعة المعاملة بغير ذلك.
