English translation
In all cases in which the surety points out the debtor's property, the surety shall be discharged to the extent of the debt that the creditor was unable to recover because he failed to take the necessary measures at the appropriate time.

في كل الأحوال التي يدل فيها الكفيل على أموال المدين تبرأ ذمة الكفيل بقدر ما
تعذر على الدائن استيفاؤه من الدين بسبب عدم اتخاذه الإجراءات اللازمة في الوقت
