Article 985 of Civil Code

1 - A lease granted by the mortgagor is not effective against the mortgagee unless it bears an established date prior to registration of the attachment application. If the lease does not bear an established date in this manner, or was concluded after registration of the attachment application and the rent was not paid in advance, it shall be effective only if it falls within acts of sound administration. 2 - If a lease preceding registration of the attachment application exceeds ten years in duration, it shall be effective against the mortgagee only for ten years, unless it was registered before entry of the mortgage.
