Article 28 of Code of Criminal Procedure and Trials

An order to sign an undertaking shall be executed at the hearing at which it is issued. As for an order to provide a personal surety or deposit financial security, the court shall grant the person a period for its execution if he so requests. The term of the undertaking shall commence on the date of its signature, unless the person required to give the undertaking is imprisoned, in which case it shall commence upon the end of imprisonment. The undertaking must be accompanied by a personal surety if the person required to give it has limited legal capacity.
