Article 40 of Juveniles Law

English translation

The juvenile's trial shall be held in private, and no one may attend it other than the juvenile, his relatives, witnesses, lawyers, probation officers, and anyone whom the court permits to attend by special permission. The Juvenile Court may exempt the juvenile from attending the trial in person and suffice with the attendance of the person responsible for his care or a lawyer on his behalf, provided that the probation officer attends the trial. The court may order the juvenile to be removed from the hearing after questioning him, or order the removal of any of those mentioned in the first paragraph of this Article if it considers that necessary. If the juvenile is removed, it may not order the removal of his lawyer or the probation officer. Nor may the court render a conviction until after explaining to the juvenile the proceedings conducted in his absence, and in this case the judgment shall be deemed rendered in his presence.
