Neither acceptance nor rejection is required to occur immediately upon death. Nevertheless, the bequest shall become void if the heir, or the person entitled to execute the will, notifies the legatee by formal notice containing a statement of cessation of the bequest, requests him to accept or reject it, and 30 full days elapse from his knowledge thereof, excluding the statutory time allowances for distance, without his responding in writing with acceptance or rejection, without having an acceptable excuse. لا يشترط في القبول ، ولا في الرد ان يكون فور الموت. ومع ذلك تبطل الوصية إذا
ابلغ الوارث ، او من له تنفيذ الوصية الموصي له بإعلان رسمي مشتمل على بيان
كف عن الوصية ، وطلب منه قبولها او ردها ، ومضى على علمه بذلك ثلاثون يوما
كاملة ، خلاف مواعيد المسافة القانونية ، ولم يجب بالقبول او الرد كتابة ، دون ان
