Article 260 of Personal Status Law

a- If the bequest is of a usufruct to a specified person for a period with a specified beginning and end, the legatee shall be entitled to a usufruct during that period. b - If the period expires before the testator's death, the bequest shall be void. If part of it has elapsed, the legatee shall be entitled to the usufruct for the remainder. c - If the period has a specified duration but no specified beginning, it shall begin at the time of the testator's death.
