Article 22 of Weapons and Ammunition Law

Anyone who violates the provisions of Articles 6, 7, 8, 13, 3/19, 20 of this Law shall be punished by imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year and a fine not exceeding one thousand dinars, or by either of these two penalties, without prejudice to any more severe penalty provided for in any other law. (1) The first paragraph was replaced pursuant to Decree-Law No. 90 of 2025 3-2) Added pursuant to Decree-Law No. 90 of 2025 Law Index 423 Home Page Weapons and Ammunition Law Decree-Law No. 13 of 1991 concerning Weapons, Ammunition, Bladed Weapons, and Dangerous Air Weapons Article 22 bis (1) Without prejudice to any more severe penalty provided for in another law, anyone who deliberately causes terror to another person by carrying weapons, bladed weapons, or dangerous air weapons provided for in this Decree-Law in a public place shall be punished by imprisonment for a term of not less than one year and not more than two years and a fine of not less than one thousand dinars and not more than two thousand dinars, or by either of these two penalties. The penalty shall be doubled in the event of recidivism. In all cases, confiscation of the weapons, bladed weapons, or dangerous air weapons constituting the subject of the crime shall be ordered.
