Article 148 of Bankruptcy Law

The debtor's assets may not be sold during the preliminary proceedings period. Nevertheless, the bankruptcy judge may, at the trustee's request, authorize the sale of perishable things or things whose maintenance entails exorbitant expenses. The sale of the debtor's assets may also be authorized to obtain cash for expenditure on the affairs of the bankruptcy estate. Sale in the cases specified in the preceding paragraph shall take place in the manner designated by the bankruptcy judge, who may request the supervisor or the Bankruptcy Committee—if the indebtedness is subject to its supervision—to provide him with their opinion in this regard.
