Article 157 of Bankruptcy Law

Within the ten days following issuance of a decision opening bankruptcy declaration proceedings, the trustee shall pay, from the cash in the trustee’s possession and notwithstanding the existence of any other debt, the wages and salaries due before issuance of the decision opening the proceedings. If the trustee does not have the cash necessary to pay these debts, payment must be made from the first cash received, even if there are other debts ranking ahead of them in priority. Amounts due to the aforementioned categories in excess of the foregoing shall have the preferential ranking prescribed by law.
