Article 218 of Bankruptcy Law

Subject to the provision of the two preceding articles, if an investigation of the bankrupt for the offence of fraudulent bankruptcy begins after ratification of the composition or after the issuance of a decision terminating the bankruptcy by composition, or criminal proceedings for this offence are instituted against him after such ratification or decision, the bankruptcy judge may, at the request of the Public Prosecution or any interested party, order such precautionary measures as he considers appropriate to preserve the debtor’s assets. These measures shall be cancelled automatically if it is decided to discontinue the investigation or a judgment acquitting the bankrupt is rendered.
