Article 291 of Bankruptcy Law

English translation

The effect of the stay of criminal proceedings provided for in the preceding Article shall continue until the bankruptcy judge decides on the preventive settlement and restructuring proposal by ratifying it or refusing ratification in accordance with the provisions of this Law. If the bankruptcy judge ratifies the preventive settlement proposal or the restructuring plan, this shall result in extending the stay of criminal proceedings that have been initiated until implementation of the proposal or plan is completed. If the debtor obtains a decision that implementation of the preventive settlement proposal or restructuring plan has been completed, the Public Prosecution shall issue a decision to close the investigation, and the court shall issue a judgment extinguishing the criminal action. If a final and unappealable judgment has been rendered in the criminal action, its enforcement shall be stayed. The stay of criminal proceedings shall end as soon as a decision or judgment is issued terminating or invalidating the preventive settlement or restructuring proceedings.
