The bankruptcy judge may, on his own motion or at the request of the debtor or the Bankruptcy Committee, instruct the Bankruptcy Committee to nominate more than one trustee and determine their fees, and shall issue his decision appointing them and approving their fees. If there are multiple trustees, they must act jointly and shall be jointly and severally liable for their acts. They may delegate to one another, but may not delegate to third parties except with the permission of the bankruptcy judge, and the trustee and his delegate shall be jointly and severally liable. The bankruptcy judge may divide the work among the trustees or entrust one of them with a particular task, in which case the trustee shall be liable only for the tasks entrusted to him.

يجوز لقاضي الإفلاس من تلقاء نفسه أو بناء على طلب المدين أو لجنة الإفلاس أن
يكلف لجنة الإفلاس بترشيح أكثر من أمين وتحديد أتعابهم، ويصدر قراره بتعيينهم
واعتماد أتعابهم.
إذا تعدد الأمناء، وجب أن يعملوا مجتمعين ويكون الأمناء مسئولين بالتضامن عن
أعمالهم، ويجوز أن ينيب بعضهم بعضا، ولا تجوز لهم إنابة الغير إلا بإذن من قاضي
الإفلاس، ويكون الأمين ونائبه مسئولين بالتضامن، ويجوز لقاضي الإفلاس أن يقسم
العمل بين الأمناء، أو يعهد إلى أحدهم بعمل معين، وفي هذه الحالة لا يكون الأمين
