Article 27 of Social Insurance Law

Subject to the provisions of Article (13) of this Law, if the insured person is reinstated in service or takes up work subject to the provisions of this Part, payment of his retirement pension shall be suspended, and his previous period of service counted towards the pension shall be aggregated with his new service, and upon its termination he shall be treated on the basis of both periods together. However, if a retirement gratuity has previously been paid to him, then, for his previous period of service to be aggregated with the new period, he must repay the retirement gratuity previously paid to him, either in a single payment or in instalments without any interest thereon, in accordance with the conditions and rules determined by the Rental Council, which shall also determine the time limits and conditions of the aggregation rules and the cases of exemption from repayment of the gratuity.
