Article 31 of Social Insurance Law

An insured person subject to the provisions of this Part may add notional contribution periods during service or within one month of its termination, provided that the maximum pension stipulated in Articles (19) or (23) of this Law, as applicable, is not exceeded. Where periods are added after the termination of service, it is a condition that this result in the insured person becoming entitled to a pension or in an increase in the pension to which that person is entitled. The rules, conditions and tables for this shall be issued by a decision of the Minister after the approval of the Board of Directors. The addition may be made at the employer’s request, in accordance with what is specified in the decision referred to in the preceding paragraph; in this case, the employer shall bear the consideration for the addition.
