Article 454 of Commercial Code

1 - A bill of exchange payable at sight shall be payable upon its presentment, and must be presented for payment within one year of its date. The drawer may shorten or extend this period, and the endorsers may shorten it. 2 - The drawer may stipulate that a bill of exchange payable at sight shall not be presented before the expiry of a specified term. In this case, the period for presentment shall be calculated starting from that term.
