Article 165 of Kuwaiti Penal Code

Anyone who uses unwarranted cruelty toward a domestic or captive animal, whether by killing it, beating it, wounding it, making it perform work beyond its capacity, or confining it in a manner that causes it pain, shall be punished by imprisonment for a term not exceeding three months and a fine not exceeding twenty-two dinars and five hundred fils, or either of these two penalties. The court may order the animal to be placed in a facility for treatment or care, or order it to be put to death if it suffers from an incurable disease or intractable injury. 2 - Exposure to Danger
