Article 189 of Kuwaiti Penal Code

Whoever has sexual intercourse with a female within a degree of relationship prohibited to him, knowing that fact, without coercion, threat or deception, where she has attained twenty-one years of age, shall be punished by imprisonment for a term not exceeding fifteen years. If the female victim has not attained twenty-one years of age but has attained fifteen, the penalty shall be life imprisonment. The foregoing penalties shall be imposed on anyone who is a guardian, testamentary guardian, curator or custodian of a female, or is entrusted with her upbringing, care or supervision of her affairs, and has sexual intercourse with her without coercion, threat or deception. )2(
