Article 262 of Kuwaiti Penal Code

Anyone entrusted with a paper signed or sealed in blank who breaches that trust and writes in the blank space above the signature or seal, contrary to what was agreed, an instrument of debt, a discharge or any other instrument resulting in harm to the owner of the signature or seal, shall be punished by imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years and a fine not exceeding two hundred and twenty-five dinars, or either of these two penalties. If the paper signed or sealed in blank was not delivered to the offender, but he obtained it by any means, the penalty shall be imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years and a fine not exceeding three hundred and seventy-five dinars, or either of these two penalties.
