The training period shall be two consecutive years of actual practice of law, after which the lawyer enrolled in Roll No. ) A ( referred to in the preceding Article shall be granted a certificate by the lawyer under whom he trained, stating the date on which he joined his office, the period he spent continuously in training, and a statement of the work he performed during that period. An officially certified statement of the numbers of the cases he handled must be attached to this certificate. The period of employment in any of the following activities shall count towards the training period: 1- Technical work in posts in the judiciary, the Public Prosecution, the Department of Legal Advice and Legislation, the General Department of Investigations at the Ministry of Interior, or the Legal Department at Kuwait Municipality. 2- Teaching law at Kuwait University or any other recognized university. 3- Any other work designated by a decision of the Minister of Justice, after obtaining the opinion of the Lawyers Admission Committee, as equivalent to the legal profession. If the training period calculated in the foregoing manner is less than two years, it must be completed. Enrollment in Rolls ) ) B, C, D ( prescribed in Article 6, in respect of the categories referred to in the preceding items ) 1, 2, 3 (, shall be according to the period each of them spent practising equivalent activities, in accordance with the arrangements prescribed in this Law.
