Article 7 of Legal Profession Law

An application for registration on the general roll shall be submitted to the Lawyers' Admission Committee, which shall be constituted under the chairmanship of the president of the Lawyers' Association or his deputy in his absence, with a membership of two members of its board of directors and two members of the Association registered on roll No. )b( at least, selected by the Association's board of directors. This committee shall have competence over registration matters, annual review of the rolls, verification that the particulars therein conform to its decisions, examination of the circumstances of those registered on these rolls whose circumstances require their names to be transferred to the roll of non-practising lawyers, and issuance of the necessary decisions in this regard. For the registration application to be accepted, it must be accompanied by all documents demonstrating fulfilment of the conditions required by this Law and evidence of his payment of the registration fees referred to in Article )14(, which shall be refunded to him if registration is definitively refused. )3(
