English translation
Within no more than thirty days of accepting the arbitration, the arbitrator shall notify the litigants of the date of the first hearing scheduled to consider the dispute and its venue, without being bound by the rules prescribed in this Law for service. He shall set a deadline for them to submit their documents, memoranda and grounds of defence. An award may be rendered on the basis of what one side submits if the other fails to do so within the specified time. Where there are several arbitrators, they must jointly conduct the evidentiary proceedings and each must sign the minutes, unless they unanimously delegate one of them to perform a particular procedure and record his delegation in the hearing minutes, or the arbitration agreement authorizes one of them to do so.

يقوم المحكم خلال ثلاثين يوما على الأكثر من قبول التحكيم بإخطار الخصوم
بتاريخ أول جلسة تحدد لنظر النزاع، وبمكان انعقادها وذلك دون تقيد بالقواعد
المقررة في هذا القانون للإعلان. ويحدد لهم موعدا لتقديم مستنداتهم ومذكراتهم
وأوجه دفاعهم . ويجوز الحكم بناءً على ما يقدمه جانب واحد إذا تخلف الآخـر عـن
ذلك في الموعد المحدد.
وإذا تعدد المحكمون وجب أن يتولوا مجتمعين إجراءات التحقيق وأن يوقع كل
منهم على المحاضر، ما لم يجمعوا على ندب واحد منهم لإجراء معين ويثبتوا ندبه
