Article 251 of Code of Civil Procedure

Immediately upon completing the attachment, the enforcement officer must affix notices to the door of the place containing the attached items and to the boards designated for that purpose at the Enforcement Department, stating the day, time and place of sale and the type and general description of the attached items. This shall be recorded in a report appended to the attachment report. The Director of the Enforcement Department may order announcement thereof in the Official Gazette, a daily newspaper or other media. He may also, at the request of the attaching creditor or the attachment debtor, authorize additional means of announcement and publication at the applicant's expense. He may also order this of his own motion, with the cost deducted from the sale proceeds. Affixing shall be established by recording it in a special register maintained for this purpose at the Enforcement Department, and publication shall be established by submitting a copy of the newspaper or a certificate from the media entity.
