Article 23 of Traffic Law

Obtaining a permit from the General Traffic Department is required in the following cases: 1 - Transporting persons in freight vehicles. 2 - The driver of an animal-drawn vehicle. A decision of the Minister of Interior may require a permit in other cases. The Executive Regulations of this Law shall specify the rules for issuing permits, their conditions, fees and validity periods. Article 24 (2) A driving licence granted for the first time may be withdrawn if its holder commits, during the first year after its grant, two of the violations stipulated in Articles (33), except item 3, 33 bis, (38). A new licence shall not be granted until at least four months from the date of withdrawal.
