Article 34 of Traffic Law

Without prejudice to the measures prescribed in this Law or any more severe penalty in any other law, anyone who commits any of the following acts shall be punished by imprisonment for a term not exceeding two months and a fine not exceeding two hundred dinars and not less than one hundred dinars, or by either of these two penalties: 1( Added by Law No. 52 of 001 2 1. Causing an accident that damages public property or others as a result of violating the provisions of this Law or its Executive Regulations. 2. The presence of a child under the age of ten in the front seats, or failure to secure the child in the rear seats while driving the motor vehicle, or leaving the child in the vehicle without an adult accompanying the child. 3. Driving a motor vehicle without brakes (brakes), or whose brakes (brakes), or any one of them, are defective or unfit for use. 4. The handing over by the owner of the motor vehicle, the person in whose name it is licensed, or its possessor to a person who does not have a valid driving licence to drive such a vehicle, or without a driving licence, or any other permit required by this Law, its Executive Regulations, and the decisions implementing it. 5. Transport vehicles violating the conditions concerning the load, or its height, width, length, or weight. 6. Causing harm or damage to traffic signs, traffic lights, or traffic enforcement and monitoring devices, or altering their features, locations, or directions, or placing stickers on them or any other materials that may affect their effectiveness. 7. Failure to comply with the meaning of road markings or traffic signs. 8. Driving a motor vehicle without valid insurance, subject to the cases of exemption prescribed by law. 9. Violating the controls concerning the colour or transparency of vehicle glass, or tinting vehicle glass contrary to the regulations issued in that regard. 10. Placing any writing, stickers, or pictures on the vehicle, or any other additions, without a permit from the General Traffic Department. 11. Using the motor vehicle for a purpose other than that specified in its vehicle operating licence. 12. Offices, establishments, and companies violating the conditions and controls specified by the Executive Regulations and the regulatory decisions concerning commercial activities connected with the General Traffic Department. 13.
