Article 35 of Traffic Law

Without prejudice to the measures prescribed in this Law or any more severe penalty under any other law, anyone who commits any of the following acts shall be punished by imprisonment for a period not exceeding one month and a fine not exceeding one hundred dinars and not less than fifty dinars, or by either of these two penalties: 1. Driving a motor vehicle without the knowledge or consent of its owner, the person in whose name it is licensed, or its possessor. 2. Driving a motor vehicle whose plate is damaged, unclear, or has illegible numbers, or with only one plate, or changing the location, color, or shape of the plates issued by the General Traffic Department. 3. Driving a motor vehicle without a permit or with an expired permit, or violating the conditions of the permit in cases where the Law, its Executive Regulations, or the decisions implementing it require such a permit to be obtained. 4. Refusing to produce a driving license, vehicle operating license, or any other permit required by the Law, its Executive Regulations, or the decisions implementing it to members of the police force upon request. 5. Using lamps, loudspeakers, machines, or any other devices contrary to what is legally permitted; they must be seized and their confiscation ordered by judgment. 6. Driving or stopping a vehicle on sidewalks or roads designated for pedestrians. 7. Stopping a vehicle at night on highways or unlit roads without illuminating its small lights or the prescribed light reflector. 8. Using dazzling high beams or searchlights in a manner contrary to the provisions governing their use. 9. Turning, making a U-turn, entering, or reversing against the direction of traffic. 10. Making any change to the purpose for which the vehicle is used or to the vehicle's color, or replacing any essential part thereof resulting in a change in the particulars of the license, without obtaining written approval from the competent authority at the General Traffic Department. 11. Driving a motor vehicle at a speed below the minimum speed prescribed on highways or ring roads. 12. Violating the instructions, orders, or directions of members of the police force concerning the regulation of traffic. 13. Driving trucks during the prohibited times specified by the General Traffic Department. 14. Failing to give priority of passage as specified in the Executive Regulations concerning the Traffic Law. 15. Failing to fasten the seat belt. 16. Fleeing or failing to comply with the stop issued by members of the police force. 17. Weaving at speed between vehicles on the road (1)
