Article 33 of Electronic Transactions Law

Except for data or information concerning persons stored by government security entities in their records and electronic processing systems—for considerations relating to the country's national security—a person may request any of the entities mentioned in the preceding Article to allow him access to the personal data or information recorded with it, referred to in the preceding Article, concerning him or any individual whom he legally represents, and to obtain an official statement thereof. The said entities must comply with that request. The Executive Regulations of this Law shall specify the procedures and controls governing individuals' access to personal data and information.
