Article 40 of National Assembly Elections Law

The main and subsidiary committees shall administer the electoral process in accordance with the foregoing procedures until the conclusion of the electoral process, and each committee shall draw up a record thereof, signed by both the committee chairman and its members present. Immediately upon the conclusion of the electoral process in all committees of the constituency, each committee shall sort the ballot box by public announcement and display thereof to those present. A record of the counting of votes shall be drawn up in an original and a copy and signed by the chairman and the committee members present. The ballot papers shall then be returned to the box together with the election record and a copy of the counting record, and the box shall be closed and sealed with red wax, except for the boxes of the main committees. Each subsidiary committee shall then transport the ballot box to the premises of the main committee to which it belongs, accompanied by the committee chairman, the Commission's delegate, and five of the candidates' representatives present, selected by agreement among themselves or by lot in the absence of agreement. The original vote-counting record and the box shall be delivered to the chairman of the main committee. The Commission may seek the assistance of experts from the General Department of Experts.
