Article 36 of Copyright and Related Rights Law

Employees designated by the Chairman of the Council upon nomination by the Library, and in respect of whom a decision is issued by the competent minister granting them judicial enforcement status to monitor implementation of this Law, may inspect printing presses, libraries, publishing houses, and public places, detect crimes committed in violation of its provisions, draw up the necessary reports, and refer them to the Public Prosecution. They may seek the assistance of police officers in performing their work when needed. The competent minister shall provide the necessary financial and administrative facilities to these employees to enable them to carry out their work. By a reasoned decision of the competent minister, and after notifying the violating entity and granting it a period of 7 working days to respond in writing to the violation, the violating establishment may be administratively and temporarily closed for a maximum of three months. In the event of recidivism, withdrawal of the licence may be ordered. The person concerned may lodge a grievance against the decision within a maximum period of sixty days.
