Article 19 of Public Funds Protection Law

Without prejudice to any more severe penalty, anyone who submits to the investigating authorities in respect of the offences provided for in this Law, or to any other official body, false data or incorrect information, or conceals data or information concerning the entities mentioned in Article Two, or commits fraud or deception in testimony or a declaration relating to these offences, or conceals the truth or misleads justice, shall be punished, shall be punished by imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years and not less than six months. The provision of this Article shall not apply to the spouse of any person involved in the acts provided for therein, or to his ascendants or descendants.
