The patient has the right to be informed, with complete honesty and accuracy, of everything relating to his health condition in accordance with Article (10) of this Law. The physician shall exercise accuracy, truthfulness and honesty in informing him of the medical condition, its nature, stages, causes, potential complications that are not rare, diagnostic procedures, treatment methods, and the benefits and risks of each, and in acquainting him with appropriate alternatives and available options in a proper, simple and clear manner, to the extent permitted by his physical and psychological condition.
