Article 30 of Law on the Practice of Medicine and Allied Health Professions

The patient has the right to refuse informed consent or advance directives, or to withdraw them at any time without needing to state a reason. The medical team and the administration of the health facility must respect his wishes and record this in his file after informing him of the consequences. This shall be done through the same procedures prescribed for giving effect to them under this Law.
