Article 33 of Law on the Practice of Medicine and Allied Health Professions

The patient or his legal representative has the right to 1 - Obtain information relating to the medical services provided by the health facility concerned, the approximate financial costs expected for his treatment, and the amounts of those costs borne by guarantor entities. 2 - Obtain the medical services available at the health facility from a specialized medical team qualified academically, practically and professionally, in accordance with the laws, regulations and decisions in force. - Know the names, positions and role of everyone undertaking his treatment and care, whether physicians or other practitioners of allied professions. 4 - Know his treatment plan prepared by the treating medical team, the date of his transfer and discharge from the health facility, and how his health condition is to be followed up during his periodic visits after discharge from the facility. 5 - Obtain a safe and effective health environment within the health facility during the period in which he receives medical services from practitioners of the profession. 6 - Obtain the available translation services at the health facility's expense in circumstances requiring them.
