Article 8 of Anti-Human Trafficking Law

Anyone who assaults any person responsible for implementing this Law or resists that person by force or violence during or because of the performance of that person's duties shall be punished by imprisonment for a term not exceeding fifteen years. The penalty shall be life imprisonment or fixed-term imprisonment not exceeding fifteen years if the assault or resistance results in a permanent disability or serious disfigurement unlikely to disappear, or if the offender carries a weapon or is a member of the authorities entrusted with maintaining security. The penalty shall be death if the assault or resistance leads to death.
