English translation
Criminal proceedings shall not be instituted against an addict who voluntarily presents himself to an addiction treatment centre seeking treatment and rehabilitation, before any complaint or request for his prosecution is registered pursuant to Article (62) of this Decree-Law. The addict shall surrender to the centre any narcotic or psychotropic substances or preparations in his possession, if any, and the centre shall send the seized items to the competent body in the Ministry under a detailed report in preparation for their disposal. The centre may discharge the addict at any time after his recovery or if he violates the controls set out in the second paragraph of Article (64) of this Decree-Law. The addict and his data must be handled in complete confidentiality.

لا تقام الدعوى الجزائية على المدمن الذي يتقدم من تلقاء نفسه إلى مركز علاج
الإدمان طلباً في العلاج والإعادة تأهيله، وذلك قبل قيد أي شكوى أو طلب
لملاحقته عملاً بأحكام المادة (٦٢) من هذا المرسوم بقانون.
وعلى المدمن أن يسلم للمركز ما بحوزته من مواد أو مستحضرات مخدرة أو
مؤثرة عقلياً إن وجدت لديه، ويتعين على المركز أن يرسل المضبوطات للجهة
المختصة في الوزارة بموجب تقرير مفصل تمهيداً للتصرف بها.
وللمركز إخراج المدمن في أي وقت بعد تعافيه أو في حال مخالفته للضوابط المبينة
في الفقرة الثانية من المادة (٦٤) من هذا المرسوم بقانون.
ويجب التعامل مع المدمن وبياناته في سرية تامة.Ask about this article
