Article 156 of Capital Markets Authority Law

All tangible and intangible assets of the Kuwait Stock Exchange shall devolve upon the Authority upon issuance of this Law. The Market Committee shall continue to manage them until the Authority assumes management duties, and the Authority may entrust their management to the Kuwait Stock Exchange Company. During the first year of the Law's operation, the Authority shall commission an advisory committee to assess the tangible and intangible assets of the Kuwait Stock Exchange and determine which of them shall devolve upon the Authority and which shall remain with the Exchange, provided that the Authority authorises each of the Exchange and the Market Committee or the Kuwait Stock Exchange Company to manage these assets and undertake the administrative and financial duties required for the operation of the Exchange facility during the transitional period.
