Article 26 of Capital Markets Authority Law

No commissioner or employee of the Authority invited to a meeting within the Authority’s competence, who has a direct or indirect interest in the matter presented for consideration, may participate in its consideration, express an opinion on it or vote on it. He shall disclose that interest at the beginning of the meeting and leave the meeting before discussion of the matter begins. Every person invited to a meeting within the Authority’s competence who has a direct or indirect interest in the matter presented for consideration shall also disclose that interest at the beginning of the meeting and before participating in its consideration or expressing an opinion on it. In all cases, the chairman of the meeting shall draw the attendees’ attention to the necessity of the disclosure referred to in the preceding two paragraphs.
