Article 73 of Capital Markets Authority Law

The Authority shall include in the Executive Regulations the rules governing the acquisition by any person of a percentage of not less than 5% and not more than 30% of the shares of any company listed on the Exchange. Any of the shareholders referred to in the preceding paragraph may object to resolutions of general assemblies if such resolutions would prejudice minority rights. He shall have the right to lodge a grievance with the Commission of Commissioners within fifteen days from the date of issuance of the resolution objected to or his knowledge thereof, whichever is later. The Authority may annul the general assembly's resolution if prejudice is established. Any interested person may challenge the Authority's decision before the competent court in accordance with the procedures specified by this Law and its Executive Regulations. If the Authority does not respond to the grievance within twenty days, this shall be deemed a rejection thereof.
