English translation
Anyone who possesses or uses eavesdropping devices of any kind shall be punished by imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year and a fine not exceeding five thousand Kuwaiti dinars and not less than five hundred dinars. The penalty shall be doubled for anyone who uses these devices to record or transmit conversations conducted through telecommunications devices. In all cases, confiscation of the devices and other items used in this offence shall be ordered, as shall the erasure and destruction of the recordings obtained.

كل من حاز أو استعمل أجهزة التصنت أياً كان نوعها يعاقب بالحبس مدة لا تزيد
على سنة وبغرامة لا تزيد على خمسة آلاف دينار كويتي ولا تقل عن خمسمائة دينار
، تضاعف العقوبة على كل من استخدم هذه الأجهزة في تسجيل أو نقل المحادثات
التي تجرى خلال أجهزة الاتصالات ، ويحكم في جميع الأحوال بمصادرة الأجهزة
وغيرها مما يكون قد استخدم في هذه الجريمة كما بمحو التسجيلات المتحصل عليها
