Article 7 of Decree-Law No. 13 of 2026 concerning Safeguarding and Protecting the Supreme Interests of Military Entities

As an exception to Article (26) of the aforementioned Decree-Law No. 67 of 1976, each military entity shall establish the rules and procedures necessary to regulate traffic within protected areas under its supervision, by a decision of the competent authority, with the aim of securing and protecting passengers and pedestrians within the facility. Each military entity shall be confined, when apprehending violators of this Article, to the geographical limits of its protected areas, without prejudice to the Ministry of Interior's powers to take general enforcement measures in accordance with the general governing legal rules.
