Article 8 of Decree-Law No. 13 of 2026 concerning Safeguarding and Protecting the Supreme Interests of Military Entities

Road users shall clear the road, make way, or stop their vehicles during the passage of military columns or military or official processions when alerted thereto by warning devices or by any other means, even if this requires stopping at the far right of the road. Drivers of military vehicles and machinery shall exercise the necessary care to prevent endangering persons' lives or property and give warning thereof during the movement of military columns or military or official processions, or the undertaking of military movements or transfers to perform their duties in accordance with Articles (6) and (7) of this Decree-Law.
