Article 4 of Decree-Law No. 53 of 2026 Promulgating the Law Regulating Procedures for Parentage and Name Correction Actions

The Committee shall have exclusive competence to consider the following applications: 1- An application to establish or deny direct lineage. 2- An application to establish or deny indirect lineage. 3- An application to correct or change a name and to add or delete a surname.
