Article 62 of Decree of 1979 concerning the Civil Service Regulations

The Civil Service Council shall have jurisdiction to discipline holders of positions in the leadership positions group by imposing the penalties of censure and dismissal from service. The Council may refer the matter to a committee formation from among its members to study it and propose the appropriate decision. The committee may seek the opinions of persons it selects who are not its members, and may also assign one of its members or others to complete the investigation. The committee’s proposals shall be submitted to the Council, and its decision shall be final.
