Article 1047 of Civil Code

If an opportunity arises to sell the pledged thing and the sale would be a profitable transaction, the pledgor may request the court to authorize the sale of that thing, even before the debt falls due. The court may, after balancing the interests of both parties, authorize the sale, and shall then determine the conditions of sale and decide on the deposit of the price.
