Article 237 of Civil Code

A public employee shall not be liable for his act that harmed another if he performed it in execution of an order of the law or an order issued to him by his superior, whenever obedience to that order was obligatory upon him, or he believed the justifications acceptable that it was obligatory, and he proves that he had reasonable grounds that led him to believe in the lawfulness of the act he performed and that he exercised care and caution in his act. 2 - Liability for the Act of Another
