Article 900 of Civil Code

1 - The pre-emptor shall replace the purchaser in relation to the seller in all his rights and obligations. 2 - Nevertheless, he shall not be entitled to benefit from the period granted to the purchaser for payment of the price except with the seller's consent. 3 - If a third party establishes title to the sold property after it has been taken by pre-emption, the pre-emptor shall have recourse only against the seller.
