English translation
The court may try anyone who, while it is sitting, commits an offence of assault against its bench or any of Law Index 195 Home Page Criminal Procedure and Trials Law Law No. 17 of 1960 Promulgating the Criminal Procedure and Trials Law its members or any court employee, and immediately sentence him to the penalty. It may also try anyone who gives false testimony at the hearing or refuses to testify, and impose the prescribed penalty upon him. Prosecution of these offences shall be undertaken by the Public Prosecution or any other person assigned by the court for that purpose. In all other respects, the court proceedings shall follow the ordinary rules.

للمحكمة أن تحاكم من تقع منه أثناء انعقادها جريمة تعد على هيئتها أو على أحد
أعضائها أو على أحد الموظفين في المحكمة، وتحكم عليه فورا بالعقوبة.
ولها أيضا أن تحاكم من شهد زورا في الجلسة، أو امتنع عن تأدية الشهادة، وتقضي
عليه بالعقوبة المقررة.
يتولى الادعاء في هذه الجرائم النيابة العامة أو أي شخص آخر تكلفه المحكمة بذلك،
