English translation
In offences for which the institution of proceedings requires a complaint by the victim, as well as offences of bodily harm and assault punishable by imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years, offences of violating the inviolability of property, sabotage and damage affecting individuals' property, threats, and extortion of money by threats, the victim may pardon the accused or settle with him for money before or after judgment is rendered. The conditions governing complaints as to form and capacity to settle shall apply to this settlement.

في الجرائم التي يشترط لرفع الدعوى فيها صدور شكوى من المجني عليه، وكذلك
في جرائم الإيذاء والتعدي التي لا تزيد عقوبتها على الحبس لمدة خمس سنوات
وجرائم انتهاك حرمة الملك والتخريب والإتلاف الواقع على أملاك الأفراد، والتهديد
وابتزاز الأموال بالتهديد يجوز للمجني عليه ان يعفو عن المتهم أو يتصالح معه
على مال قبل صدور الحكم أو بعده.
تسري على هذا الصلح شروط الشكوى من حيث الشكل ومن حيث أهلية التصالح.Court of Cassation principles citing this article
